About The Position

Analysts will conduct all-source research and analysis using open-source, commercial, and government databases to identify threats, security concerns, and intelligence gaps, compiling their findings into written assessments and briefings to support protective and security programs. They will evaluate and interpret intelligence reports, provide situational awareness through outreach with law enforcement, and apply methods such as Behavioral Threat Assessment Management and cyber threat intelligence analysis to support investigations and crisis management. Additionally, analysts must meet stringent security and eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, a bachelor's degree, a background investigation, and eligibility for a Top Secret/SCI clearance, while the Lead Analyst will oversee operations, ensure compliance with policies, and manage the workflow and quality of intelligence products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in intelligence, law enforcement, security, or related field and must possess at least five of cumulative experience in open-source intelligence collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • At this level, CIRSs often work independently and support major tasks in addition to Level 1 work.
  • In lieu of a bachelor's degree, four additional years of experience are required for Intelligence Analyst level and two additional years of experience with an associate's degree in a relatable field.
  • Must meet stringent security and eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, a bachelor's degree, a background investigation, and eligibility for a Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Must possess at least five of cumulative experience in open-source intelligence collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Possess a valid high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED), or equivalency.
  • Be able to read, write and speak the English language fluently.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid, unrestricted (except eyewear) state driver's license.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • Must meet the following standards and qualifications:
  • Pass a background security investigation.
  • Successfully complete all on-boarding training to include online mandatory training and on-the-job training.
  • Sign and be subject to a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

Responsibilities

  • Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting information from diverse sources to produce actionable intelligence that supports law enforcement, national security, and Department decision-making
  • Gathering intelligence from a wide range of sources, including law enforcement databases, open-source information, classified materials, and human intelligence reports
  • Analyzing complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and relationships that reveal criminal, intelligence, or security threats.
  • Using analytical methodologies, statistical tools, and software, to transform raw information into meaningful insights that guide operational planning and strategic decisions.
  • Producing intelligence reports, assessments, and briefing materials tailored to various audiences, including investigators, command staff, stakeholders, and partner agencies.
  • Providing both strategic and tactical support to operations.
  • Maintaining effective communication and coordination with other intelligence units, investigative entities, and external partners.
  • Remaining proficient with emerging technologies and methodologies that enhance data exploitation, visualization, and predictive analysis.
  • Upholding all applicable legal, ethical, and privacy standards governing intelligence collection, retention, and dissemination.
  • Preparing and delivers oral briefings and presentations clearly communicating analytical findings, risk assessments, and intelligence gaps.
  • Staying current on analytical methodologies, emerging criminal and intelligence trends, and technological innovations to enhance the effectiveness of intelligence operations.
  • Providing direct analytical support throughout the investigative process assisting investigators in developing investigative strategies, compiling target profiles, and identifying potential witnesses or suspects.
  • Assisting in identifying and developing intelligence related to criminal enterprises, networks, and emerging threats.
  • Conduct all-source research, analysis, and production.
  • Have strong written communication skills, with the ability to draft complete, accurate, and grammatically correct reports.
  • Employ meticulous documentation skills, organizational ability, and attention to detail to support the drafting of assessments.
  • Utilize Government furnished technology and tools only for the purposes of conducting the services required under this contract.
