The MITRE National Intelligence Division is seeking an Intelligence Analyst II to support the Mission Operations Department (N923). This mid-level role contributes to operationally focused analytic efforts supporting Intelligence Community mission priorities, including technical operations, mission integration, and high-consequence operational environments. The Intelligence Analyst II will independently execute analytic tasks while contributing to multidisciplinary teams supporting ODNI and other IC sponsors. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to synthesize complex operational information, apply structured analytic methods, and translate mission challenges into actionable insight that strengthens operational effectiveness and enterprise integration.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in intelligence studies, international relations, economics, engineering, computer science, political science, or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with relevant experience who can immediately contribute to the work; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
  • Familiarity with mission engineering, technical operations, collection integration, or operational analysis
  • Demonstrated analytic writing and briefing capability
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • This position has an on-site requirement of 5 days a week on-site

Responsibilities

  • The Intelligence Analyst, Intermediate will conduct independent research and analysis in support of mission operations, technical activities, and sensitive operational environments.
  • The role includes developing analytic products, briefings, and assessments for senior government stakeholders; applying structured analytic techniques to evaluate operational risks, performance gaps, and mission effectiveness; and assessing the operational and enterprise implications of emerging mission challenges and capability requirements.
  • The Analyst will support integration of intelligence, technical, and operational perspectives across mission partners and contribute to mission planning, operational assessments, and broader enterprise integration initiatives.
