About The Position

Serves as the supervisory team lead for the Tactical Analysis and Operations Support team. Acts as primary interlocutor for the tactical intelligence analyst team with client representatives and incorporates client operational and policy requirements into the tactical intelligence analysts’ operations. Maintains quality control and assurance standards in accordance with client requirements and fulfills corporate requirements such as performance and annual evaluations, pay raise recommendations, mentoring, and coordinating employee development needs. Performs the full range of managerial and liaison responsibilities with authority over planning activities and personnel matters. Oversees all-source tactical intelligence analysis of threat environments, using both classified and open-source reporting streams, with a focus on technical espionage threats and vulnerabilities. Oversees support to technical security and counterintelligence activities overseas, including tactical counterintelligence analysis, technical security operations support, regular coordination and liaison with other agencies, and facilitation of technical anomaly reporting. Leads customer service support for Diplomatic Security personnel requesting support for technical operations and serves as the primary contact and liaison for other agencies. Oversees the development and production of tactical threat analyses and assessments to support worldwide technical security operations, evaluates technical threat vectors, and provides written and verbal threat briefings to a variety of audiences. Debriefs personnel post-mission and facilitates technical anomaly reporting. Coordinates with regional intelligence analysts to integrate strategic and tactical intelligence, provides technical subject matter expertise, and leads analytical support to community training exercises. Participates in Department and interagency committees, conferences, and working groups to ensure the protection of national security information, facilities, and personnel at diplomatic facilities. The Intelligence Analyst III is responsible for working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition, to support tactical analysis and operations support activities.

Requirements

  • Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
  • GS-0132 equivalent; previous supervisory experience.
  • Technical security and counterintelligence knowledge.
  • Strong analytical writing and briefing skills.
