About The Position

The Intelligence Analyst II coordinates operational notification and response on a 24/7 basis for all positive watchlist encounters. This role involves conducting research, providing appropriate notifications, and disseminating necessary information related to encounters to various operational entities and partners. The analyst ensures that the database is thorough, accurate, and current by conducting research in several databases when a positive encounter is received. Additionally, the analyst documents actions taken to resolve each matter and provides feedback to appropriate partners as necessary.

Requirements

• Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
• Ability to pass a US Government counterintelligence polygraph examination.
• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience; or associate degree with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience; or a total of six (6) years of relevant experience in lieu of a missing degree.
• Ability to conduct complicated searches of various database systems to locate data.
• Ability to disseminate timely information to agencies as appropriate.
• Experience performing highly complex and detailed analytical functions relative to compliance with laws, executive orders, directives, and policies.

Responsibilities

• Apply analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, consider, and resolve procedural or factual issues.
• Demonstrate knowledge of management and organization principles, including administrative practices and procedures.
• Utilize qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques such as literature search, work measurement, task analysis, and productivity charting.
• Consistently apply complex direction, including standard operating procedures and operations manuals.
• Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills to discuss findings and recommendations.
• Conduct interviews with supervisors and employees to gather information about organizational missions and work procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
