About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Intellectual Property Manager to lead our Intellectual Property function across the corporation and some subsidiaries. This is a critical leadership role responsible for safeguarding our present and future investments in intellectual property rights, enhancing our competitive position, and mitigating corporate risk through direct collaboration with legal counsel.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with an emphasis in intellectual property law or a technical engineering degree.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a new product development or engineering environment.
• Prior management experience with a proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with complex technical language and patent documentation.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to work autonomously and drive strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the corporation's intellectual property strategy across all subsidiaries.
• Collaborate with legal teams to identify, protect, and enforce IP assets.
• Monitor and respond to potential trademark conflicts and opposition filings.
• Proactively identify opportunities for new patents and trademarks.
• Ensure compliance and minimize risk in product development and innovation initiatives.
