About The Position

INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES SERVICES SITE COORDINATOR The primary duties of this position are planning, promoting, coordinating and directing activities of staff and intellectually / developmentally disabled clients of the Site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years’ work experience in mental health, IDD or related field.
  • Must have TB skin test completed prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains documentation as evidence that all duties are completed in accordance with program requirements contained in the Mississippi Department of Mental Health Operational Standards.
  • Maintains proper training, continuing education, qualifications, and other certifications required for this position as written in the Mississippi Department of Mental Health Operational Standards.
  • Day-to-day operation of site.
  • Planning and giving specific directions to staff supervised.
  • Selecting and requisitioning materials, equipment and supplies.
  • Consulting with and making recommendations to administrative superiors.
  • Maintain payroll, production and other reports as required.
  • Organize, procure, and set production procedures for work-training contracts.
  • Engage with staff in training and habilitation process of intellectually / developmentally disabled CONU.
  • Transportation of clients as directed by supervisor.
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor
