About The Position

2020 Companies is hiring a full-time temporary Field Sales Manager for our Retail Clients, DELL and Intel. Join our team as a Hybrid Field Sales Manager (FSM) and become a trusted advisor for retail partners and customers. This role, reporting to the Regional Manager, emphasizes building strong relationships within Best Buy and potentially other retail locations across your assigned territory (Wednesday-Sunday schedule). You will play a vital role in driving sales growth by training and motivating retail staff, engaging directly with customers to gather critical feedback, and collaborating with store management to implement effective sales and merchandising strategies. Success in this position depends on building rapport, providing expert product knowledge, and consistently achieving sales targets.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • 6+ months previous retail selling experience in consumer electronics or other technical/wireless products preferred.
  • 6+ months of successful training experience, preferably within direct marketing/retail environments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to stage a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs.
  • Strong analytical skills and customer service orientation.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform independently in an unstructured work environment.
  • Must have and maintain reliable transportation and state-required minimum liability automobile insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prioritize store visits based on sales goals and promotional priorities.
  • Travel to assigned Best Buy and potentially other retail locations, engaging directly with customers on the sales floor.
  • Provide product recommendations and utilize the Best Buy POS system to facilitate sales.
  • Connect with store management and sales associates to build rapport and provide product training.
  • Drive engagement with the Intel Retail Edge program, encouraging associate registrations and training completions.
  • Evaluate product displays and ensure they adhere to brand standards.
  • Document store visit activities, sales data, customer feedback, and relevant observations.
  • Attend meetings and conference calls as required.
  • Monitor achievement of weekly sales goals and track sales growth over time.
