Integrative Health Fitness Instructor - IRP
About The Position
The Center for Integrative Health at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking experienced and passionate instructors to lead community-based wellness classes that support holistic health and well-being. Ability to design and teach integrative modalities such as one or more of the following: yoga, tai chi, qigong, sound bath, forest bathing, urban zen and other mind-body practices. Instructors will deliver safe, inclusive, and engaging sessions for adult and geriatric populations under the supervision of Center for Integrative Health staff and leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum Education Required HS Graduate or Equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Member of Yoga Alliance a plus
- BLS certification strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Design and facilitate group classes in one or more integrative modalities
- Ensure participant safety and accessibility throughout sessions
- Adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse populations, including older adults and individuals with limited mobility
- Collaborate with Center staff to support program goals and participant experience
- Maintain a welcoming and professional environment
