About The Position

The Integrations Analyst III at Tufts Medicine is a senior-level role focused on the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions to meet organizational needs. This position involves overseeing IT integrations, managing projects, and providing technical expertise in healthcare information systems, particularly with Cloverleaf and Epic Bridges. The analyst will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including vendors and internal teams, to ensure effective integration and support for the organization's IT infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related area.
  • Four years of Healthcare IT experience, including working with HL7 interfaces and programming languages or scripting tools.
  • Experience with Cloverleaf and Epic Bridges.
  • Experience with healthcare information systems from Epic.

Nice To Haves

  • Expert-level knowledge of report writing tools including Microsoft Office, SQL, and SQL injector.
  • General knowledge of current technological and healthcare-related trends in health care integration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Integration Manager with coordinating workload related to system integration and health information exchange.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, training, and monitoring of HL7 interfaces through an interface engine.
  • Act as a technical liaison between vendors, analysts, management, and end-users on integration projects.
  • Provide integration/interface recommendations for managers as needed.
  • Perform interface engine upgrades.
  • Provide primary on-call support for interface errors outside of business hours.
  • Oversee the implementation of file transfers using FTP platforms.
  • Collaborate with technical resources and business analysts to meet hospital needs.
  • Lead team projects to enhance technical proficiency among team members.
  • Develop policies and procedures for code reuse, documentation, and testing.
  • Write design documentation, functional requirements, and specifications with guidance.
  • Collaborate with others to meet user expectations and team deadlines.
  • Write medium-to-complex code.
  • Participate in test case scenarios and live support.
  • Lead integration projects.
  • Monitor adherence to established Organizational and IS policies and procedures.
  • Resolve complex issues and oversee intricate design and build challenges.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced analysts.
  • Manage small and medium-sized projects with minimal oversight.
  • Enhance professional growth through educational programs and workshops.
