INTEGRATION & TEST SPECIALIST (SATELLITE TEST) - 2ND SHIFT At SpaceX, we are leveraging our experience in building rockets and spacecraft to deploy Starlink, the world's most advanced broadband internet system. Starlink is the world's largest satellite constellation, providing fast, reliable internet to millions of users worldwide. We are looking for a talented integration & test specialist to support the production of Starlink satellites, specializing in the testing of the satellites and evaluation of test failures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a hands-on manufacturing environment OR a bachelor's degree in an engineering, math or science discipline

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in an engineering, math or science discipline
  • Experience as a Lead Technician working on assembly and/or test of sub-assemblies
  • Ability to read, understand and follow detailed schematics, drawings, and instructions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook)
  • Able to adapt to constant changing work assignments and fast paced work environment
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and teamwork skills
  • Excellent concentration and attention to detail with outstanding work efficiency and accuracy
  • Experience in Python, C++, or other programming languages
  • Experience with integration and testing of propulsion, thermal, electrical, and/or structural systems

Responsibilities

  • First level triage of test failures by reading and interpreting test logs and telemetry
  • Assess non-conforming hardware and drive resolution and preventative actions
  • Design and implement assembly fixtures/shop aides to improve manufacturing process
  • Identify and implement changes to design, process, safety, and floor layout to improve yield, performance, and cost
  • Implement standard practices, troubleshooting guides, and standard repair procedures
  • Identify, develop, and provide training to production technicians on new or updated processes
  • Create and support equipment maintenance and calibration schedules
  • Perform process development and validation on new designs in extremely aggressive timelines
