In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Ship to Shore Connector (SSC) hovercraft in a wide variety of circumstances. Focus is on production support, logistics support, design analysis and technical documentation, as well as supporting fielded craft in concert with our Navy customer. This position will be part of the Systems Integration and Test (SIT) Engineering team focusing on supporting the ShiptoShore Connector (SSC) Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC), next generation hovercraft program. Primary duties would be supporting the rollout of production crafts into testing; troubleshooting a variety of multidiscipline, complex issues throughout testing and systems integration; driving continuous improvement through feedback to design/quality/manufacturing and root cause analysis (RCA); and supporting fielded crafts in concert with our Navy customer. You will be part of a highly skilled, multidiscipline engineering team and, as such, will need the ability to effectively interface and communicate with other team members and across engineering disciplines. This also extends out to the broader team of pilots, test conductors, technicians, and other engineering groups.
