Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with programming languages, software platforms, and environments.
  • Understanding of standard system design principles, testing diagnosis, test procedures, and data transfers.
  • Understanding of databases, data formats (JSON, XSD, XML), and transformation techniques.
  • Understanding of smart security practices related to integration & test.
  • Familiarity with version control using GitLab.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fluid, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to continuously learn while influencing integration & test best practices.
  • Able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++.
  • Ability to manage integration projects including timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
  • Understanding of APIs and their connectivity to software systems.
  • Experience with comms systems/hardware, especially legacy systems.
  • Familiarity with VITA 48 specifications for embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with networking of comms systems.
  • Familiarity with Docker containers, Kubernetes, Virtual Machines (VMs).

Responsibilities

  • Help shape the future of the team and capabilities.
  • Engage in requirements, design, development, integration, and flight testing.
  • Interact with inter-organizational representatives and internal/external customers.
  • Participate in integration activities with various host systems.
