Requirements

  • 2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment handling flight hardware and performing critical operations.
  • Possess a wide range of technical skills including but not limited to fastener/torque applications, secondary retention, testing, avionics familiarity, and bonding operations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production.
  • Ability to set up and operate a wide range of hand and pneumatic tools along with calibrated tools and measuring devices.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and be comfortable working in tight spaces.

Nice To Haves

  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant license.
  • Electromechanical build proficiency.
  • Familiar with propulsion systems and components.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that various components and systems of flight hardware are assembled, tested, and installed with the highest quality.
  • Operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to successfully build and install flight hardware.
  • Collaborate with the production team, integration engineers, and quality team to build, develop, and document job operations.
  • Focus on assembly, install, and testing of flight hardware through development and production of Terran R.
