About The Position

Integration Strategy & Planning Director (Integration Strat & Plng Dir) Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. The Integration Strategy & Planning Director is responsible for developing end-to-end M&A integration strategy from due diligence through execution. How you will make an impact: Leads large, multiple deal teams simultaneously through complex, enterprise-wide integration programs that address the highest priorities for our business. Partners with executive leaders to define and execute programs. Defines value drivers for deals and directs teams in building detailed execution plans to ensure value is realized. Provides oversight across all integrations to ensure that each deal is aligned to enterprise strategy and the target value is realized. Develops integration best practices and coaches the integration team to ensure consistent implementation across the M&A portfolio. Identifies and implements cross-team process improvements that improve our M&A results broadly. Mitigates risks to integration success including safeguarding deal commitments and targets. Assesses risks across the M&A portfolio to identify root causes. Advises business leaders on future-state strategy and operating models for acquired businesses. Partners with Legal to ensure that all deal parameters are achieved. Builds relationships with stakeholders to develop future-state strategy and operating models for acquired businesses.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS in related field and minimum 10 years healthcare industry experience in an investment banking, M&A or strategy consulting, or corporate development role; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Requires experience with a diverse range of M&A deals, directing large strategy and execution programs, and leading cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing health services and/or pharmacy businesses with a focus on operations integration and improvement strongly preferred.
  • Experience working within a diversified healthcare company and in the interplay between health plans and services strongly preferred.
  • Fluency with M&A related financial concepts and experience delivering on financial targets strongly preferred.
