About The Position

As Integration Project Manager – Supply Chain & Network Integration, you will lead the integration of a newly acquired business or consolidated businesses into Thermo Fisher Scientific’s global distribution and logistics network. This role sits within the Network Strategy & Integration team and plays a critical part in ensuring seamless business transition, systems alignment, and long-term network optimization. You will gain enterprise-level visibility across business functions and directly shape how newly acquired businesses integrate into Thermo Fisher’s global supply chain. This role provides a pathway into future integration and network strategy initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading large-scale integration, divesture, transformation, or merger & acquisition initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence a highly matrixed organization and drive outcomes without direct authority.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Operations, and related business functions.
  • Demonstrated project and program management capability, including leading initiatives lasting multiple months or years (formal PM certification a plus).
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to define, track, and interpret meaningful performance metrics.
  • Experience supporting system implementations or migrations (ERP/WMS/TMS) preferred.
  • Process mapping expertise (current-state to future-state design).
  • Skilled communicator with executive presence, capable of presenting to senior leadership and driving cross-functional alignment.
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex, ambiguous, and evolving environments.
  • Strong organizational discipline with structured execution capabilities.
  • High adaptability and resilience during periods of organizational change.
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, operations, or related field required.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in business integration, M&A, or transformation within supply chain or operations environments, including leadership of complex, cross-functional projects and programs.”
  • Experience supporting system implementations or migrations (ERP/WMS/TMS) preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Exposure to distribution or logistics environments preferred but not required.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, PPI, or continuous improvement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead distribution and logistics (D&L) integration of acquired business operations into Thermo Fisher’s network.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, IT, Procurement, HR, Engineering, and Division leadership to align systems, processes, and performance expectations.
  • Assess current-state operations, identify gaps, and drive implementation of solutions to achieve target-state alignment.
  • Develop and execute integration roadmaps with defined milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure successful TSA performance, including (proactive) issue resolution and adherence to agreed service levels.
  • Establish integration KPIs and performance tracking mechanisms aligned with Integration Management Office (IMO) governance.
  • Drive cross-functional problem-solving sessions and executive-ready updates.
  • Leverage knowledge gained during integration to enhance network efficiency and operational performance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across distribution and logistics.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization, service level enhancement, and process harmonization.
  • Maintain strong partnership with FSD stakeholders and enterprise functions.
  • Contribute to future integration and network transformation initiatives as part of the broader strategy team.
