We are seeking an Integration Engineer Intern who is eager to learn how different business systems communicate with each other. In this role, you will help support the design and development of integrations between applications used across the company. You will work with experienced engineers to troubleshoot system issues, help test new workflows, and document integration processes. This position offers hands-on experience with APIs, cloud tools, and enterprise applications while collaborating with teams across IT, operations, and security.

Requirements

  • Basic understanding of APIs, databases, or programming concepts
  • Exposure to technologies such as JSON, XML, SQL, or Low Code Environments
  • Interest in cloud environments like Microsoft Azure
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Eager to learn system integration best practices and enterprise applications
  • Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with REST APIs, event-based messaging, or EDI
  • Exposure to Azure Integration tools (Logic Apps, API Management, Function Apps)
  • Interest in retail or ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, BlueCherry, KWI)
  • Experience with Git/GitHub or automation tools

Responsibilities

  • Assist with building and testing basic integrations between applications
  • Help review system workflows and identify improvements
  • Support troubleshooting issues related to data transfers or automation
  • Help write and maintain documentation, diagrams, and training materials
  • Participate in deployment testing and validation
  • Learn integration tools and patterns used in enterprise environments
  • Work with team members to track and resolve incidents
  • Assist in writing basic queries and scripts as needed
