About The Position

Kforce has a client in Austin, TX that is seeking a highly motivated Integration Engineer to join our Factory Software Team. Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for integrating new manufacturing lines with our homegrown Factory, Warehouse, and ERP systems, and providing ongoing support to ensure their smooth daily operation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive system integration projects and troubleshoot production issues to maintain the operational health of our systems. This role requires a unique blend of technical skills, including system integration knowledge, real-time issue resolution, and user support. You will work in a fast-paced environment and need to be flexible in managing both long-term projects and daily operational support for our users and providing ongoing support to ensure their smooth daily operation.

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a support or integration engineering role, with a focus on system implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • 3+ years of experience working with SQL to manage and query databases effectively
  • 1+ years of experience with Python, Go, or other software development languages for automating tasks and integrating systems
  • Solid understanding of integrated systems and their dependencies, particularly within manufacturing and enterprise environments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and users at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills, with a proven ability to deliver results under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, and presentations
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a constantly changing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with system integration and working in environments that use MES, WMS, and ERP systems is a strong plus

Responsibilities

  • Implement and support integration of new manufacturing lines with Factory, Warehouse, and ERP systems
  • Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and system users to ensure seamless integration of new features
  • Support daily operations by troubleshooting and resolving user issues across the Buffalo factory, including handling support tickets
  • Create workarounds for immediate issues and work towards permanent solutions
  • Document troubleshooting procedures and provide user training for common issues
  • Collaborate to implement system optimizations, including automation and monitoring tools
  • Act as incident commander during critical production issues, coordinating teams to resolve incidents and minimize downtime
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide data-driven insights and corrective actions
  • Maximize efficiency and reliability of integrated systems by implementing best practices for scalability, performance, and downtime reduction
