About The Position

CGI Federal has an exciting opportunity for an Integration Engineer/Developer within our Intel sector advancing the national security mission through cutting edge technology. You must have a passion for keeping pace with rapidly evolving technology advancements and leveraging your knowledge on a highly collaborative team to deliver state-of-the-art capabilities. The Integration Engineer/Developer designs, develops, and implements solutions that connect different systems and applications to ensure they work together seamlessly. They are responsible for building and maintaining the connections between various software and hardware components, ensuring data flows smoothly and systems operate efficiently. This often involves working with APIs, databases, and other technologies to create a cohesive and functional IT ecosystem. CGI Federal is growing its high-performance team whose members share a passion for building high-quality, scalable, advanced IT solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced, outcome-driven mission. This position is located in USA VA Arlington, however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 10+ years of experience.
  • TS/SCI required with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI with Poly highly desired.
  • Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and data mapping.
  • Experience with databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with APIs and middleware technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and implementing integration solutions for diverse systems and applications, often involving APIs and middleware.
  • Working closely with developers, system architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to define integration requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Building and testing integration solutions to ensure they meet performance, functionality, and security standards.
  • Monitoring and resolving integration issues, ensuring systems remain stable and reliable.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for integration processes, workflows, and system configurations.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest integration technologies and best practices to improve integration strategies.
  • Overseeing the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of APIs to ensure efficient and reliable operation of integration processes.
