About the job you’re considering We are hiring an experienced Integration Architect with strong hands‑on expertise on platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, webMethods for a large-scale project. The role involves analyzing existing MuleSoft integrations, developing solution architecture, guiding the team on design with principles and best practices while delivering new or migrating legacy integrations to SAP BTP Integration Suit. Ideal candidate location would be Raritan, NJ but open to consider from other locations as well.

Requirements

  • 4–10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise integration development.
  • Hands-on experience with integration patterns and event-driven architectures embracing reuse and standardization.
  • Strong experience in SAP integrations handling various payloads utilizing IDOCS, OData methods.
  • Strong understanding of integration architecture, best practices, and reusable framework development such as parameter management, secrets management, logging & reprocessing.
  • Experience reviewing and interpreting complex MuleSoft flows to support migration to BTP IS.
  • Agile delivery mindset.
  • MuleSoft ESB, API Manager, Data Weave, MUnit
  • Event Mesh (MQ, Solace/Kafka/RabbitMQ/SAP EM)
  • SAP S/4HANA integration (OData, IDoc, BAPI, RFC, CDS)
  • Jenkins CI/CD, Bitbucket/Git, enterprise monitoring tools
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and documentation skills

  • SAP BTP IS, CPI, API Management, CAPM (optional)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze existing MuleSoft integrations and assist in migrating them to SAP BTP IS.
  • Design and develop Integration flows, mappings, and set up adapters connections (HTTPS, SFTP, SOAP, IDoc, OData).
  • Set up connections with source and target systems understanding networking and security requirements.
  • Define API specifications (REST/SOAP), set up proxy APIs in the APIM/Gateway, utilizing required policies, and security (oAuth, JWT, ClientID enforcement)
  • Work with event-driven platforms such as MQ, Solace, Kafka, Amazon SQS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure end-to-end quality.
