BAE Systems is looking for Systems Engineering Leads to work as part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug, and test next generation Electronic Warfare (EW) systems. Focused on delivering innovative EW solutions, individual technical contributions will include system development, requirements development, integration & test, and test planning and execution in a field deployment environment. This position will require you to be onsite in either Nashua NH or Manchester NH, performed full-time on site. The role involves leading a medium or large team of Systems Engineers on EW related programs, managing all system engineering content and work products, and understanding and implementing the product development process. The work environment is flexible, with a 9/80 schedule allowing every other Friday off.

  • Creation and review of systems requirements to include software, component, subsystem, and operational concepts

  • Leading product design, development, integration, and verification
  • Managing and participating in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetings
  • Preparing and delivering technical presentations internally and with customers
  • Monitoring and reporting metrics such as System Technical Performance Measures
  • Supporting proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities
  • Bachelor's Degree of Science (or equivalent experience in a relevant field)
  • 12+ Years with BS, 10+ Years with MS, or 8+ Years with PhD
  • Possess an Active US Government security clearance (with ability to possess TS)
  • Leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex programs
  • Expert in effectively documenting, communicating, leading and working with a team on designs, results, reports, and presentations
  • Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle
  • Experience developing viable concept solutions, identifying and tracking technical risks, and leading technical teams
  • EVMS certification and CAM experience required
  • M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related engineering discipline and 11 years of experience or Ph.D. with 9 years of experience
  • Project/Program team member responsible for workflow, which is dynamic in nature
  • Experience with EW and/or Radar and Missile Systems
  • Experience with technical performance measurements and cost account management
  • Model based systems engineering experience with tools such as MagicDraw
  • Familiarity or experience with Agile Systems Engineering
  • Active United States security clearance, Top Secret, SCI Eligible
