About The Position

As an Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer for Land and Air Systems, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the integration and formal test of an aircraft subsystem. Within this position, you will support a team through environmental risk reduction (RR) testing as well as formal environmental qualification testing (MIL-STD-810, 461, 464, 704, etc.) to verify an aircraft system can endure specific environmental conditions. Additionally, you will use your troubleshooting and testing skills to integrate and troubleshoot 3U module circuit cards into a backplane within an aircraft chassis during RR and formal qualification efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
  • 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Agile experience.
  • Heavy understanding of thermal and vibration testing per MIL-STD-810 or DO-160.
  • Experience with setting up and running thermal chambers and vibration tables.
  • Experience drafting and executing formal test procedures based on military standards.
  • Experience in test equipment design and drafting.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot problems down to the component level.

Responsibilities

  • Support environmental risk reduction (RR) testing and formal environmental qualification testing.
  • Verify aircraft systems can endure specific environmental conditions.
  • Integrate and troubleshoot 3U module circuit cards into a backplane within an aircraft chassis.
  • Draft and execute formal test procedures based on military standards.
  • Execute formal hardware qualification to verify customer requirements.
  • Run Acceptance Tests Procedures (ATP) and manage automated tests using Factory Test Equipment (FTE).
  • Troubleshoot equipment, test software, or product failures as required.
  • Design and develop early integration test plans and procedures for embedded systems.
  • Procure parts, assemble test equipment, and integrate with the system under test (SUT).
