About The Position

Are you interested in the next generation of Space Force Remote Sensing capabilities? The SMX Space and Intelligence (S&I) Business Unit (BU) is on the ground floor across the future remote sensing ecosystem for all orbital regimes (LEO, MEO, HEO, and GEO). We build, integrate, and operationally support our customers' emerging space-ground systems to include real-time data processing frameworks, sensor data processing, and data visualization. We are looking for an Integration and Test Engineer who is excited to apply their talents to delivering cutting-edge solutions to our customer's challenging projects. The ideal candidate is a recognized professional with hands-on technical expertise with a good understanding of technical engineering concepts. Position location is on-site in Boulder, CO 5 days per week. Secret level clearance is required with ability to obtain Top Secret.

Requirements

  • Clearance Required: Secret with the ability to obtain Top Secret. Due to the clearance requirement, U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidate must also participate in a background screen.
  • BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience specifically in a integration and test role (an advanced degree (eg: Masters, PhD) provides two years of experience)
  • Software Integration and Test experience
  • Proficient with Linux command line
  • Experience with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Detail oriented
  • Good verbal and written communication skill

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience specifically in an integration and test role (an advanced degree (eg: Masters, PhD) provides two years of experience)
  • OPIR Domain knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Support software integration and testing at the government TAP Lab facility in Boulder, CO including:
  • Onboarding applications to a framework
  • Integration issue analysis
  • Testing support
  • Coordination with development team for issue resolution
  • Additional support may be required at other government operational facilities, specifically the OBAC
