Role Purpose The Integration & Automation Specialist plays a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable integration, automation, and Power Platform solutions across the organisation. Working in alignment with the enterprise integration, automation, and AI roadmap, this role ensures all solutions are delivered to a high technical standard and support long term strategic objectives set by the Head of Integration & Automation. You will partner closely with the Integration & Automation Manager, Senior Specialist, Analyst, and Architect to translate business, technical, and AI driven requirements into robust, reliable solutions. This includes leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform to deliver secure, well governed low code applications, automations, and AI experiences. The role requires strong collaboration with cross functional teams, operational stakeholders, and technology partners to deliver efficient, secure, and scalable application integrations, business process automation, and emerging AI capabilities. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar integration, automation, or Power Platform role.
  • Proven experience delivering integration, automation, and low code solutions in an Agile environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA), leveraging Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and broader Microsoft Power Platform capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in GenAI solutions, AI powered automations, and AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, with a foundational understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and responsible AI practices.
  • Experience designing and implementing Power Platform governance, including environment strategy, DLP policies, solution management, and ALM.
  • Proven development experience using C# .NET and/or Java.
  • Solid proficiency with SQL and relational database technologies.
  • Working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell for automation tasks.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) and cloud native integration patterns.
  • Experience using Atlassian tools including Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira, and Jira Service Management.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating complex systems within ERP, CRM, and Insurance platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Good to have hands-on experience with MuleSoft Integration Platform, including API and microservices implementation.
  • Good to have experience working with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies such as NServiceBus and messaging platforms including RabbitMQ or similar.
  • Exposure to ETL processes and data security best practices is advantageous.
