About The Position

Kidwell is seeking a highly motivated individual willing to learn Access Control, Video Surveillance/Security, Nurse Call, Cabling, Intercom, & A/V to join our team as an entry level Project Manager. This position will coordinate and lead our commercial & mixed-use small projects throughout all Kidwell market areas ensuring they are completed accurately and effectively. This Project Manager will be trained on Kidwell methodologies and best practices, so they can provide consistent and precise support to our field staff, and a high level of customer communication. This team member will be managing multiple projects at once, so strong attention to detail and time management skills are required. Applicants must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with a passion to lead every project effectively. This position will be based out of our Lincoln or Omaha office.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of Assistant Project Manager experience or Construction Management Degree.
  • A high level of customer interaction is required.
  • Strong, well-developed communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple initiatives effectively.
  • Creative thinking when solving material delays or design issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Integrated Systems or other low voltage systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close Integrated Systems small projects.
  • Manage and coordinate changes to project scope, aiming to keep projects within the estimated budget and timeline.
  • Strategically plan projects and coordinate with the field team to ensure proper resource allocation.
  • Learn and follow Kidwell methodology to ensure consistency across projects, suggesting improvements and efficiencies.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Programs.
  • Collaborate with experts in each proficiency to manage projects from start up to closeout.
