Our facility in Highlands Ranch, CO seeks a mid-career Program Planner to join our mission supporting the Lockheed Martin Space IGNITE organization which is responsible for the research and development of new technologies. IGNITE performs groundbreaking research, develops ground-breaking products for internal and external sale, and accelerates technology development at an unheard-of rate for Space. The IGNITE organization has been charged with removing the barriers to creativity and change to become a more cost-effective company. It will push the boundaries of possibility, experiment with new ways of completing the mission, and develop products and technologies years ahead of our current operations. Requirements

• 3-7 years of professional experience in an operational planning or scheduling type of capacity
• Working knowledge of a scheduling tool such as MS Project (preferred), Open Plan, Primavera, ProjectView
• Earned value and/or demand management knowledge
• Ability to perform schedule integrity checks and critical path analysis
• Demonstrated ability to compile, prepare and present information to management and customers
• For facility access and program requirements, must be a United States citizen

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college
• Extensive Microsoft Project Server and Microsoft Excel
• Additional program planning knowledge/experience working on government reportable programs
• Experience with resource loaded schedules
• Experience with Schedule Risk Assessments (Monte Carlo simulations)
• Strong sense of follow-up and closure with strict attention to detail and quality

Responsibilities

• Develop Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) & Program Summary Master Schedules (PSMS) for development of programs
• Track progress of program activities against baseline internal plans, and ensure schedule margin to contract dates is achieved or maintained
• Maintain schedules, perform risk analysis, and identify critical/driving paths while developing solutions for resolutions along with network logic validation/deconfliction
• Perform proposal submittal and execution schedule development through preparation and assessment of progress against established plans and parameters
• Maintain cost and schedule integration throughout the program lifecycle
• Implement and monitor Earned Value Management System on programs
