Requirements

• Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering configuration management.
• In-depth understanding of configuration management principles.
• Experience creating and managing Technical Variance Documents (TVDs).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Experience with DoD technical documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Configuration Management processes.
• Oversee shipbuilder change management processes and performance.
• Assist in problem resolution and process enhancements with the shipbuilder.
• Review and provide oversight for configuration management processes.
• Ensure accuracy of configuration management documents.
• Prepare and maintain project-related documentation.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality expectations.
• Implement change reduction strategies within the project.
