About The Position

The Integrated Planning function within RTX is responsible for driving schedule alignment with financial, factory, program operations, and engineering stakeholders, resulting in an integrated plan that forms the basis for long-term sales and operations execution (S&OE). S&OE enables program managers and value stream leaders to make strategic and tactical decisions to optimize customer satisfaction and financial performance. The Integrated Planning team enhances execution efficiency through analytics and optimization of system data to support business processes. This execution position focuses on program readiness for major end-items tied to firm contracts. The role involves understanding production demand profiles and internal/external constraints to identify, communicate, and address potential issues promptly. The individual will facilitate decision-making and collaboration across various functions and program areas using data analysis, simulation, and fact-based influence. Beyond addressing known issues, this role identifies high-risk and variability areas, analyzing scenarios to establish contingency plans for on-schedule delivery. The execution planner will be directly involved in scheduling and planning decisions for major deliverables, providing process support and oversight for near-term and mid-term plans. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are crucial for optimizing schedules around factory efficiency, high customer satisfaction, and consistent financial target achievement. This role collaborates closely with the cross-functional execution team and contributes to the broader Integrated Planning Organization by providing strategic and organizational support for high-impact, high-visibility activities.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering, operations, or analytics.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Experience planning, controlling and directing activities and resources
  • Experience with complex systems and processes, and filtering and distilling relevant information from complex datasets into simple messages

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in material planning and/or procurement role.
  • Experience in ITAR rules and regulations
  • Experience with SAP systems or other ERP systems
  • Experience with Government and Depot type processes
  • Experience reading and evaluating lists of parts required for production work and working with a production planning system.

Responsibilities

  • Interface and coordinate with Program Leadership Team and other Functional customers.
  • Interface with Factory Production Control Leads and Planners
  • Communicate schedule changes across multiple factories.
  • Program Master Scheduler (exception message management, coordinate, create and enter MSALT changes)
  • Run and analyze Kinaxis simulations for strategic execution.
  • Coordinate material for various test milestones.
  • Help develop strategic mitigation plans (MRSP) with the Program and Material Program Managers
  • Drive MRP Health data integrity.
  • Maintain Planned Independent Requirements and Dependent Demand
  • Coordinate PRISM set-up for transition to full rate production.
  • Manage Program Residual Compliance Support for DCMA and other scheduled audits
  • MOCAS/DD250 Coordination and Management
  • Coordination of a Program Line of Balance
  • Support customer-oriented meetings and briefing material.
  • Maintain inventory and support engineering efforts for program laboratories.
  • Utilizing analytical skills, critical thinking, and collaboration to plan, coordinate and direct activities and resources.
  • Contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals.
  • Work within Kinaxis.
  • Use MS Office applications including, but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Influence decisions cross functionally.
  • Mediate discussions between stakeholders with varying incentives and arrive at consensus.
