Integrated Mental Health Therapist - Primary Care/Pediatrics, Pierce County
About The Position
The Licensed Integrated Mental Health Therapist-BHN is responsible for independently providing assessments, treatment/care planning and psychosocial therapy within a primary care clinic setting for a diverse population of preventative, acute care and chronic disease management patients. The incumbent uses a variety of theoretical treatment models and interventions and excellent communication skills to work within a primary care/chronic disease management team setting with limited supervision; documents treatment/communication in keeping with department standards and keeps current on community resources to effectively provide linkage and advocacy to fulfill client's needs.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or eligibility for licensure upon hire
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a behavioral health setting
