About The Position

This position is to provide assistance and advisory services to the DoD at Arnold AFB.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in related field and 1- 10 years of relevant work experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree and 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of good engineering practices
  • Knowledge of wind tunnels, engine test, and or hypersonic
  • Knowledge of aerodynamics or aero propulsion sciences
  • Knowledge of government procurement processes and the management of large complex construction projects is desirable
  • Prior experience working at a military facility highly desirable (AEDC experience a plus)
  • PMP credentials highly desirable
  • Microsoft Project proficient
  • P6 proficient

Responsibilities

  • Provide scheduling support for Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and Integrated Government Schedules (IGS) adhering to industry best practices.
  • Analyze results and perform Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA) for subcontractor and internal IMS's.
  • Working with and advise DOD PM to analyze EVM in relation to schedule.
  • Analyze cost/schedule health metrics and based on reports out of Peoplesoft and other various cost and schedule tracking software.
  • Performing cost/schedule analysis to better inform the customer of on-going programmatic risks and schedule trends within the organization.
  • Critically analyze cost and schedule models to build informative summary views for all levels of DOD leadership and management.
  • Manage on-going cost and schedule efforts of various sub-contracts and inter-organizational staff (DOD, TOS, and A&AS) staff to improve inter-organizational communication and contract execution
  • Existing proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to quickly familiarize and learn cost and schedule specific software tools such as Primavera, MS Project, Peoplesoft Financial, Acumen Fuse, Milestones Pro and similar software.
