Job Purpose The Integrated Master Scheduler (IMS) is a critical role within the Project Management Office (PMO), responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated master schedules that support engineering and new product introduction (NPI) programs. This position drives disciplined planning, early risk identification, and schedule predictability by ensuring all project schedules are logically structured, fully traceable, and aligned with program and portfolio objectives. The IMS partners closely with Project Managers, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to maintain transparency, accuracy, and consistency across all schedules. This role provides the factual, data-driven foundation required for effective decision-making and execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, or related disciplines within engineering, aerospace/defense, manufacturing, or technology environments.
  • Proficiency in Planisware and Microsoft Project required; Primavera experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM), IMS structure, resource modeling, and schedule risk analysis.
  • Experience working within EVMS or similar performance management environments preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly present schedule insights to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and baseline integrated master schedules in Planisware and/or Microsoft Project for complex engineering and NPI programs.
  • Ensure schedule logic, dependencies, constraints, and calendars comply with PMO and scheduling standards.
  • Analyze critical path, float, near-critical activities, and schedule risks; deliver clear insights and actionable recommendations to Project Managers and leadership.
  • Support Earned Value Management (EVM) by aligning schedule structure with cost and performance tracking where applicable.
  • Conduct what-if analyses, schedule recovery assessments, and scenario modeling.
  • Coordinate schedule inputs across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and external partners to maintain accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain configuration control, including re-baseline documentation and full traceability of changes.
  • Generate standardized reports, milestone charts, and IMS dashboards for stakeholder and executive reviews.
  • Support audits, compliance checks, and maturity assessments related to IMS, scheduling standards, and EVMS integration.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO scheduling processes, tools, and templates.
