About The Position

The program delivers end-to-end EFIS&T services—including survey and design through installation, security, and testing. This work spans NIPR and SIPR networks, Wi-Fi, VoIP, ISP/OSP infrastructure, and voice modernization across all CONUS Army installations. We’re looking for an IMS Lead to own and manage the Integrated Master Schedule supporting Army network modernization efforts. You’ll develop, maintain, and analyze the program schedule, support milestone decision-making, and work closely with government and program teams to keep execution on track. You’ll translate technical scope into a structured schedule, provide insight into schedule health and risk, and support planning, testing, and transition activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, or a related technical field
  • Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years of IMS experience, including 2+ years leading scheduling personnel
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project (Server or Online)
  • Demonstrated experience developing, baselining, maintaining, and analyzing IMS on complex programs
  • Experience with schedule health metrics (e.g., DCMA 14-point check, BEI, CPLI, SPI)
  • Active Secret clearance required at the time of application
  • Must be located within 30 miles of Fort Belvoir, VA and available on-site at GENM-A offices
  • Travel up to 25%, as required
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

  • Prior experience supporting the U.S. Army or other federal agencies
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior military leadership and program teams

Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide input to the PdM GENM-A Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Support program milestone decisions through schedule analysis and issue resolution recommendations
  • Assist with master implementation, testing, and transition planning
  • Develop and maintain the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) aligned to the system physical architecture down to the configuration item level
  • Define schedule activities in terms of calendar time and required resources
  • Build and maintain schedules using Microsoft Project (Server or Online)
  • Perform schedule analysis, including critical path analysis and Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs)
  • Prepare, review, and deliver required plans, reports, and CDRL schedule deliverables
  • Support program reviews, conferences, briefings, and stakeholder meetings
