This is an immediate opening for a Co-op IT / Logistics Engineering Intern at General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS). The position offers an opportunity to apply classroom-learned skills to a program supporting national defense services. Requirements

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of engineering technology.
Enrolled in an accredited degree program in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline
Preference for a standing of a sophomore or higher.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
U.S. citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

Currently studying in a field for integrated logistics support with reliability, availability, and maintainability considerations
Understanding practices such as procurement, supply support, maintenance planning, sustainment, obsolescence management, and life cycle cost
Assist in evaluating and fulfilling customer hardware and software requirements
Able to work in a team-based environment and across functional departments
Proficient in Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
