The Integrated Insights Lead (iIL) will provide strategic thought leadership in a specific Disease Area (DA) or other assigned business area and act as the global insights and forecasting thought partner to senior leaders in GPS, Product Development and Research and Development. Influence global disease area, individual asset and commercialization strategies. Drive and influence business decisions and trade-offs by integrating and analyzing complex market dynamics, customer needs and competitive landscape, integrating insights end to end, from in-market brands to early development strategy to deliver value to patients, society and Roche.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree and 4+ years of experience in primary market research in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in epidemiology-based forecasting, market valuations, insights generation methodologies.
  • Experience supporting R&D strategy and/or commercialization strategy.
  • Excellent strategic problem solver with a passion for customer insights, market dynamics and innovation.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex market and customer data into clear and actionable insights.
  • Experience in using advanced analytics tools (e.g., AI, machine learning, predictive modeling).

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer and market centric insights in a specific disease area and embedding the voice of the customer in all strategies.
  • Provide market valuations, product/portfolio forecasts, periodic situation analysis to inform portfolio performance and evolution.
  • Design and execute the annual insights plan and performance tracking.
  • Integrate data across multiple sources to understand and predict market evolution, customer attitudes, needs, behaviors and perceptions.
  • Effectively plan, organize, and oversee insights and analytics projects from inception to completion.
  • Collaborate with other cross functional teams such as R&D, Product Development, Medical Affairs.
  • Manage and develop external insights agency partners.
  • Maintain knowledge continuity through leading knowledge management practices.
