About The Position

The Integrated Experiences Design Consultant supports the development of audiovisual, collaboration, and experience‑driven technology systems by producing coordinated design documentation, completing technical tasks, and contributing to steady delivery throughput across IX and TSG workstreams.

Requirements

  • BA/BS plus 4 years of relevant experience, or demonstrated equivalency of education and experience.
  • Experience with AV industry standards and best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in audiovisual, technology design, or systems integration environments.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred.
  • Strong documentation hygiene and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Experience preparing proposals, technical documentation, equipment research, and design narratives.
  • AVIXA Certifications (preferred): CTS (General): Demonstrates foundational AV knowledge, system functionality, and signal flow understanding. CTS‑D (Design): Validates competency in needs analysis, system schematics, documentation, and design practices. CTS‑I (Installation): Demonstrates capability in installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of AV systems, supporting coordination with integration partners.
  • AVIXA certification not required but strongly preferred, particularly CTS or CTS‑D.
  • Active or previously held U.S. Top Secret (TS) Security Clearance preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support Integrated Systems Designers and Project Managers by completing assigned design and documentation tasks, including drawings, device schedules, risers, system details, and related production work.
  • Produce updates to drawings, specifications, schedules, and control‑related content in alignment with IX standards and direction from senior technical staff.
  • Develop AV/IX documentation in AutoCAD and Revit, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established design and documentation standards.
  • Perform assigned technical tasks to support cross‑disciplinary TSG workstreams, contributing to consistent workload balancing and delivery continuity.
  • Support QC activities by incorporating feedback, refining documentation, and preparing work for internal and external submission.
  • Conduct site surveys, capture existing conditions, and support coordination with architects, engineers, and other TSG specialties.
  • Contribute technical inputs to proposals, including equipment research, narratives, diagrams, and supporting documentation for timely submission.
  • Participate in on‑site coordination with teams and clients when collaboration, integration, or relationship‑building is required; leverage remote work selectively for focused production activities.
