The Elementary Special Education Integrated Teacher plays a critical role in supporting the success of students with disabilities in the general education classroom. Their expertise in differentiating instruction, collaborating with colleagues, and advocating for students helps to create an inclusive and welcoming learning environment for all. She/he will provide specialized instruction and support to 12 students with disabilities and 13 general education model peers within the general education classroom setting. Your role is crucial, as you will work closely with two full-time Paraprofessionals, general education teachers, related service providers, and families to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and ensure that general and special education students have access to high-quality education. Your specialized instruction will significantly enhance student learning, making your role vital to the school's mission.
