Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field required.
• Master’s degree and/or addiction certification preferred.
• May possess current LPN and or RN license.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a psychiatric/substance abuse facility strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess perspective patients for treatment, identifying psychosocial, mental health and medical issues to determine if patient meets admission requirements for Black Bear Lodge.
• Completes Utilization Review Pre-Certifications based on thorough assessment completed by qualified Intake staff member or psychiatric evaluation completed by staff provider.
• Explains the evaluation and admission process to the potential patient/referral source.
• Documents all intake information.
• Ensures intake paperwork is complete and accurate. Creates intake files.
