FREE meals & parking Your goals and objectives include: Provide safety plans and resources for these patients if they're suitable for discharge; otherwise, coordinate with the hospital where the patient is as well as others to facilitate the patient's transfer to an acute behavioral health facility Handle all inbound calls for the hospital's primary intake line, and route calls internally when necessary Review hospital-to-hospital transfer requests and staff with on-call psychiatrist for admission. Collaborate with admissions & nursing teams regarding incoming admissions. Ensure timely and accurate documentation. Escalate transfer declines to direct supervisor or administrator on call. Actively encourage and maintain the hospital's waitlist for admissions Coordinate telehealth requests from contracted hospitals to dispatch on-call telecrisis team for behavioral health assessments. Schedule patients for the hospital's outpatient services.

Requirements

  • Valid Utah CSW or LCSW license or other clinical license authorized to practice in Utah REQUIRED.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check & drug screen
  • Ability to multitask with creative problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high customer service / interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize workflow (triage)

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred (1) year of experience working in a psych inpatient setting and detox preferred, but NOT REQUIRED
