Ophthalmic Technicians prepare patients for appointments with the physician, interview patients and document their history, perform diagnostic tests, and scribe for the physician while maintaining a clean and friendly environment. This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate to Earn as you learn with On-The-Job Training. We offer a 6-8 week paid training program that specializes in ophthalmic medicine . During training, you will be able to get a more hands on experience using state-of-the-art technology to provide the highest quality care to our patients. As a technician with St. Luke’s, you will be part of our world-renowned medical team. You will have the opportunity for paid advancements to become a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant, Certified Ophthalmic Technician, and Certified Ophthalmic Master Technician.
