About The Position

Under supervision of the Associate Dean for the College of Education, Health & Human Services (CEHHS) and the Student Services & Success Lead, the Intake Student Services Specialist is responsible for providing basic student services and advising for the CEHHS student services program, supporting prospective students, applying students, and students nearing program completion, with an emphasis on CEHHS’s Teacher Credential program population. The incumbent will be expected to work closely with the Student Services & Success Lead and Student Services Specialists to develop a positive and collaborative relationship with the CEHHS Teacher Credential program population. The incumbent will assist higher level Student Services Professionals with completing student services work for CEHHS Students Services. The incumbent will maintain effective working relationships with student organizations, the college community, campus partners and offices, external organizations, and other stakeholders in support of the student services program agenda. Position Summary Intake Student Services Specialist (Student Services Professional IB) This is a full-time, temporary, non-exempt position ending on or before one year from date of hire. Reappointment to this position is dependent upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to terminate this appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration date.
