About The Position

The Intake Specialist at Permiacare is responsible for enrolling individuals in the Basin Assistance Services (BAS) Cares services, facilitating access to medical treatment for those diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. This role ensures that clients who are HIV positive and not enrolled in case management services remain eligible for other BAS services. The position operates independently with limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a medical setting, social services, or customer service preferred.
• Must maintain a valid Texas Driver's license and auto liability insurance.
• Must have a driving record acceptable to PermiaCare's insurance requirements.
• Required to pass criminal history and background checks as well as a pre-employment drug screen.
