We're looking for an Intake Specialist to join our Central/East Coast team who's organized, people-oriented, and ready to be the first point of contact for families who need our help. This isn't just a desk job. You're the bridge between a family reaching out for support and the care team that delivers it. That matters. Who You Are You're a people person, full stop. You light up on the phone, you can make a stressed-out parent feel heard in the first 60 seconds of a call, and you know how to balance warmth with professionalism. You don't get flustered easily, you follow through, and families remember you in a good way. What You'll Be Doing Owning the full intake process for new families seeking ABA and therapy services Managing all ABA authorization requests from initial submission through approval Building and maintaining relationships with insurance referral sources Verifying insurance benefits and eligibility for new clients Managing case updates in CentralReach and Salesforce Assigning new and continuing cases to the clinical team daily Tracking authorization requests and following up proactively to prevent gaps in care Collaborating across teams to keep everyone in the loop on client authorizations Supporting billing and claims teams when authorization discrepancies come up Handling additional administrative tasks to keep operations running smoothly

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of customer service experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Comfortable navigating tech platforms like Google Suite, CentralReach, Salesforce, etc.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in an ABA setting
  • Prior intake or authorization experience
  • Experience working with insurance companies
  • Bilingual in Spanish
