About The Position
My Sister’s Closet has been a trusted name in luxury consignment since 1991, offering a curated selection of designer clothing, handbags, shoes, and accessories. We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join our team who specializes in authenticating high-end clothing, couture pieces, and luxury goods. The ideal candidate will possess an excellent eye for selection, ensuring that every piece meets the high standards our clientele expects. Additionally, as this role involves significant interaction with our consignors, impeccable customer service and communication skills are essential.
Requirements
- Luxury brand knowledge -Required.
- Previous employment in high-end retail is a must
- Authenticating designer clothing, shoes, and handbags experience -Required.
- Analyze the most current fashion trends.
- Carry a professional attitude and appearance.
- Customer service oriented.
- Verbal and written communication skills required
- Fashion history and knowledge of luxury designers (Vintage and Current).
- Familiar with retail and merchandise mgt. software
- POS experience-Required
- Ability to multi-task
- Position requires long periods of standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and at lift up to 30lbs.
- Availabity to work weekends and some holidays.
Responsibilities
- Work with pricing and sales teams.
- Assist in other areas of the store when needed.
