Requirements

Minimum high school diploma or GED
Bilingual- English and Spanish
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

Match therapists to clients coordinating area and need
Contact health plans or payers to gather policy benefits/limitations and complete eligibility and benefits verification to ensure services provided will be covered by the insurance.
Confirm and ensure the accuracy of data and documents and all communication in computer database
Respond in a timely manner to all referrals and enter into software database
Alert appropriate team members regarding late or missing documents required.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with patients/clients, and all colleagues and therapists
Work with team, therapists, and patients to identify potential solutions as problems are identified with payer sources.
Maintain the confidentiality of patient/client and agency information at all times
Gain knowledge of applicable payer guidelines and provide documentation of eligibility, benefits, and authorizations
Conduct all business activities in a professional and ethical manner
