About The Position

Educates patients on the proper use of equipment and/or services offered. Verifies primary payers for coverage criteria and communicates any financial obligation to the customer. Obtains initial pre-certification or authorization for prescribed equipment and/or services as dictated by patient's insurance. Researches qualifying reimbursement data in effort to create initial clean claims for third party payers. Confirms all deliveries of equipment and/or services in the billing system monthly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years' experience in a medical retail, medical office setting or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
