For more information about Parkwood Behavioral Health System, please visit our website at https://parkwoodbhs.com/ Intake Shift Supervisor Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. The Intake Shift Supervisor assumes responsibility for leading the efforts of the assessment department in the absence of the department director. Provides telephone and walk-in risk assessment and crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, determines appropriate level of care, facilitates the admission process including insurance pre-certification and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.

Requirements

Master’s Degree required in a behavioral health field.
CPR Certification

Nice To Haves

Prefer prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting
Prefer knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management.
