The Intake/Scheduling coordinator position will work as part of a team that supports the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program for children with developmental issues. Primary responsibilities include coordinating patient care. This involves completing accurate intake questionnaires with families, monitoring of ABA referrals and waitlist, communication with referring medical providers as needed, entering patient information in the Electronic Medical Record, answering telephones, taking accurate messages, scheduling and confirming appointments, tracking patient cancellations and staff absences. The coordinator must provide excellent customer service, assure patients and families are informed and well cared for during their treatment and create an overall positive experience for patients and their families.
