About The Position

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic, quaternary care system based in Chicago's western suburbs. Loyola Medicine Transport is based at Loyola University Medical Center and is part of a three-hospital system including Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and MacNeal Hospital. The Intake RN is responsible for all Central Intake functions including establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns, confirming appropriateness for admission into Loyola's Home Infusion services, and coordination of needed services. The individual conveys a professional and positive image of Loyola Medicine during interactions with patients, families, physicians, staff members, and internal departments. The individual provides service reflective of the mission, vision, and values of Loyola Medicine.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing
• RN licensure in the State of Illinois
• CPR

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Previous job-related experience preferred
• Homecare or Hospice Nursing certification is preferred
