More information about Southridge can be found online at: https://southridgebh.com/ Position Description: The Intake RN, under the supervision of the Intake Director, provides telephonic and in-person risk assessment to assist the physician in identification of appropriate level of care for potential patients. The Intake RN is the initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, facilitates the admission process and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff. The Intake RN works with the Business Office regarding patient financial data and verification and prior authorization of insurance benefits as needed, as well as with the UR Department for the certification of patients admitted. Hours and Location: Full Time, 3 12 hour shifts, 7am to 7:30pm for Day Shift. We are located on the south side of Grand Rapids, near the intersection of M-6 and Byron Center Ave SW: 6291 Venture Hills Boulevard SW, Byron Center, MI 49315
Requirements
- Education: Graduate from an accredited professional nursing required.
- Experience: A minimum of three years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
- License: Registered Nurse RN license issued by the State of Michigan required.
