About The Position

We are looking for motivated individuals who are detail-oriented and exhibit a desire to learn and grow. This role involves working with automated processing equipment and offers opportunities for personal and professional growth. Processing Technicians are responsible for managing and operating the milk intake system along with two HTST pasteurizers using both automated and manual controls. Key duties include unloading milk/cream tankers, pasteurizing, and operating various processing equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of a High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Must be able to understand and follow all GMP and Safety requirements.
• Must be able to multitask while working with a team.
• Job requires frequent walking, bending, lifting, and twisting.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment in the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Experience in a dairy production environment and/or processing operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assure regulatory compliance, process controls and safety standards are met.
• Perform daily verification checks at the critical control point of temperature (Cut-In, Cut-Out Temperatures and Indicator Checks).
• Operate and troubleshoot equipment.
• Perform testing on incoming ingredients
• Unload milk and cream tankers.
• Pasteurize and process milk and milk products.
• Perform and record production and quality controls.
• Clean in place (CIP) and sanitize equipment.
• Follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), housekeeping and safe work practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
