About The Position

We are actively recruiting an Intake Operator on the night shift to join our team in Weyauwega, WI. The Intake Operator position is responsible for receiving and shipping of liquid ingredients and completing all pre-screening testing on incoming product. This Intake Operator work in all RAW areas of the plant operating our pasteurizers, milk RO, milk separator, Water Polisher's and completing CIP on all Raw/Pasteurized equipment daily and has been trained to be a certified pasteurizer operator in accordance with DATCP.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing/intake area preferred.
  • Able to exchange basic informational data (fill out forms/checklists, copy data from one record to another, etc.); interview to gather information; advise others on alternatives/options; coach and counsel others; read, understand and explain technical data.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, quality and cleanliness in work.
  • Follow one- or two-step verbal instructions; read and follow written instructions; perform routine and repetitive tasks and carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or verbal instructions.
  • Demonstrate functional and technical knowledge, ability to learn new skills quickly, and achieve a high level of accomplishment.
  • Charm Reader Certification required (in-house training provided).
  • Forklift trained required (in-house training provided).
  • Sampler License required.
  • PCQI required.
  • Pasteurizer Certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and CIP milk tankers.
  • Complete antibiotic testing on incoming milk.
  • Log incoming loads in Mobile Manifest and the milk intake application.
  • Complete product loadouts for Cream, Milk, RO Skim Milk, and Whey.
  • Complete necessary documentation such as BOL's.
  • Complete filter changes, manage silo changes, and complete CIP
  • Complete start up and shutdown CIP of the Milk RO, Milk Pasteurizer,
  • Perform shift monitoring checks on all equipment in RO skim room.
  • Ensure correct equipment is started based off the needs for the production schedule for the standardization method being used.
  • Complete tasks on Master Sanitation Schedule for each area.
  • Assist in training new employees as directed by Supervisor.
